Blut aus Nord has been one of the most interesting (experimental) black metal bands for me since I heard about them few years ago. Latest release "Memoria Vetusta III – Saturnian Poetry" did not disappoint either. With this album, Blus aus Nord have taken a step closer to Moonsorrow's homeland, by adding some folk/pagan elements to their music. Which for me is very welcome news.
Haven't made any top list for 2014, but with this release, these fine French gentlemen would surely go right at the top branches. Hail BaN! |,,/
