Relentless - Living Along (acoustic)
"This is an acoustic version of the song Living Along (feels like surrender) from the Album Dropout! We had a couple of spare days and an acoustic Relentless song seemed like a fun way to spent 'em! (And why not to shoot some footage at the same time)."

Zdzisław Beksiński (paintings)
Zdzisław Beksiński 24 February 1929 – 21 February 2005) was a renowned Polish painter, photographer, and sculptor. Beksiński executed his paintings and drawings either in what he called a 'Baroque' or a 'Gothic' manner. The first style is dominated by representation, with the best-known examples coming from his fantastic realism period when he painted disturbing images of a surrealistic, nightmarish environment. The second style is more abstract, being dominated by form, and is typified by Beksiński's later paintings. Beksiński was murdered in 2005.

Dead To A Dying World - Dead To A Dying World (2011)
" Dead To A Dying World is band from Dallas, Texas with 7 members, they add cello, upright bass to this epic tunes… songs that have the epicness of blackened crust such as bands like Blacken The Skies, Garmonbozia or Oroku, but at the same time they incorporate slowly and dark melodies who sound more like atmospheric sludge, plus some black metal here and there with female vocals. "

In Vain - Ænigma (Album Teaser, 2013)
Dammn!! First thing I've heard from this band is this teaser and there's so much to love here!
Just by listening this teaser I can hear some prog death à la Gojira, melodic death à la Insomnium, well sung cleans, sexy as fuck black metal riffage, at some point the atmoshere actually reminded me of Behemoth... and a motherfucking
saxophone (or sexophone rather) in the middle of all this. On top of all that the ending of the teaser sounds enourmous.
Overall this is promising as all hell - They are clearly not kidding with the work: "Versatile" in the teaser!
Progressive death/black metal, Norway.
Gotta check this release for sure!

The Crescent - Risti (2013)
Finnish Black Metal. The musical and the magickal continuation of Enochian Crescent. 2012 Band signs a deal with Spinefarm Records and records 10 new songs for the new album. But this year means also the end of an era as vocalist Wrath leaves the band and the rest of the group continue under the name of The Crescent with Hellwind Tuonenjoki (Sacrilegious Impalement / Desolate Shrine) as their new frontman.
Their sound is pretty unique which by all means is not a easy task these days at any musical genre. Here's few things I want to mention about this release;
First of all there are songs with both Finnish and English lyrics/vocals on this album.
Also one notable are the choir/chorus parts à la Moonsorrow for example in the song "Kahdeksas Kuoro".
Clean vocals are also present in some of the songs, most remarkable in the epic ending track "Risti" witch is partially sung with poignant clean vocals and partially with more common sorrowful/harsh shrieked vocals, + the song actually starts with acoustic guitar and has piano in the background. Highly recommended release overall. 8/10 (Really liked it).

Darkthrone - The Underground Resistance (2013)
The Underground Resistance 2013
I love the old school heavy metal wibe this album has. There are same kind of black metal and crust punk moments aswell on this album that we have heard from Darkthrone in the past few years. No matter what Darkthrone does it seem to work. All hail the mighty Darkthrone!
Sample track: "Valkyrie" What an epic fucking chorus, epic fucking song. Awesome album overall.

Atomwinter - Atomic Death Metal (2013)
Ammmzinnng death metal from Germany. Everything seems to be just perfect with this record.
Growls are fucking deep and vicious. Guitar tone / riffs are low and evil as hell, and the old school groove tops it all off --- Seriously one of my favorite death metal albums in a while!

Job for a Cowboy - Tarnished Gluttony (official video)
Job for a Cowboy's video "Tarnished Gluttony" from the album "Demonocracy" 2012. Directed by Michael Panduro.
Jonny Davy comments: "'Tarnished Gluttony' originally runs off the idea of blind faith into our government and monetary system. The director ran with the idea and spliced it with a H.P. Lovecraftian twist. The video streams the fascination of religion and the actions people justify in the name of religion, and this video is a spin on the old biblical tale of Abraham and Isaac, however, set in the world of Lovecraftian mythology. The point is, acting blindly in faith to a Christian deity is just as absurd as worshiping squid like monsters from space who live under the sea."
Michael Panduro comments: "As a commercial director, I'm a complete failure. The band asked for just one thing and I couldn't deliver. Indeed, this video has no boobs."
